D3 Timetable Construction $530
This is the third day of training in the Edval timetable software.
It covers most of the tools and techniques that you will need when constructing a timetable automatically in Edval.
- Checking for problems before you start
- Creating a matrix type grid
- Adding your years one at a time
- Modifications that solve difficult problems
- Splitting classes to balance loads
It is expected that participants will bring their own school file with them. This file should be at ‘Champagne bottle’ stage; or in the final stages leading up to this where problems exist that you would like help in solving.
Please note: ALL trainees are required to bring their own device. Edval is a Windows based product. If bringing a MAC, it must be able to run Windows. If booking on behalf of a colleague, please inform them of this requirement.
Morning tea and lunch are provided.
Completing D3 Timetable Development will contribute 6 hours of QTC Registered PD addressing 6.3.4 and 7.1.4 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Lead Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
